Application:
MBT is quite effective in controlling bacteria, algae, mold, and yeast, and is mainly used for:
1. As an industrial fungicide, MBT has a good anti-mildew, anti-corrosion and bactericidal effects in bamboo and wood products, electrical materials, paints, rubber, leather, canvas, paper pulp, paste and ink.
2. As a water treatment fungicide, MBT can effectively kill the main bacteria, fungi and algae in the water cycle.
3. As a pesticides, MBT can be formulated into 10% MBT cream, which is a high effect, board-spectrum and safe fungicide. It has a high preventing effect on Fusarium moniliforme Sheld, phelenchoides besseyi, net blotch, covered smut and other disease caused by bacteria, fungus and nematode. It can be made into pollution-free fish medicine for water disinfection and sterilization in various aquaculture industries.
Note: MBT will hydrolyze rapidly at pH values greater than 7.5.
